Education with the associative method consists of teaching techniques on favorite heroes or stories, without the need for memorization in children. For example; By examining the life of dinosaurs, many topics such as 'How was nature at that time?, How can skeletons still be studied?, What is a fossil?, How did volcanoes form in the geography of that period?' can be entered. While examining the nature animals of that period, children can also receive education on history, geography, life science, mathematics and English on subjects they enjoy. We aim to make our children love education for life, in an exciting adventure, by preparing an education program for the students of our school with a story every month.

Another example is the 'Titanic'. The characteristics of the ship 'Titanic' are explained by making a model ship with cardboard and wood in the visual arts class. Children build the ship with teamwork, under the leadership of their teacher, with their imagination and hand skills. Making square and rectangular work on the windows on the ship, adding and subtracting the number of windows, using triangle and square in ship interior design, and making angle calculations are a part of mathematics education. In the drama class, the characters from the day this ship sank are told from a different perspective. The sociological dimension of saving the aristocrats during the sinking of the ship due to the social class difference, but pushing the popular class aside is discussed. In such a crisis, instead of categorizing people as important or unimportant, the message is given that all people should come together and manage the crisis together, thus creating a happy ending for everyone. This approach; It is a lesson for our children to be brought up with certain ethical values. In the geography lesson, the region where the ship sank and the islands nearby, how the iceberg was formed and the oceans are explained, while on the other hand, the climate of that region is mentioned. In the music lesson, while the well-known song of the movie 'Titanic' is taught, the story is rewritten with the children and a musical drama is performed. The voyage of the Titanic ship that day is reenacted with the question, "What should have been done to prevent the Titanic from sinking?" The story is rebuilt and a new Titanic story is created in children's dreams. Under the "Titanic" project, which lasts for a month, children's Turkish and English literacy, history, geography, mathematics, science, visual arts and music lessons are taught together. With this method we apply, the aim is to enable children to develop them by examining, researching, and taking ideas from many different people, together with teams to be established in the presence of the teacher, instead of others trying to understand by listening while the teacher is explaining a subject. In this way, the child succeeds in learning by researching on his own will. Instead of waiting for someone to be taught something, they go on a journey of life-long learning by examining every detail with their teammates on a subject. From the perspective of the historian, the children will ask themselves the following questions: 'How was this experience for the people on the ship? What could have happened on the ship? How long ago did it happen? When was the first ship in history built? Who built the Titanic ship? Who was the captain who used the ship? Were there important scientists among the people traveling on the ship? What are the inventions and inventions that shaped history at the time the ship was built? By answering these questions, they will benefit from some works, pictures and stories and rediscover that period. They will be able to learn important people and important dates who lived in the past and have written their names in history, and will be able to comment on why and how some events happened. They will establish cause-effect relationships. By preparing a schedule for the better formation of the concept of time, they will place the concepts of “past, present, future…” in their memory. They will understand how different ideas that emerged from various perspectives and influenced the past affect the present.

THROUGH LIFE; What is life safety? What should be done to protect life safety? Which tools help to protect our life safety? Did the people on the ship take care of their life safety? Did those who know swimming ensure their life safety? Were there enough life jackets for the number of passengers on board? What is safe travel? ̈ Children will seek answers to these questions. They will realize the importance of safe travel. They will categorize the types and means of transportation. They will find out which mode of transport the ship belongs to. Who used the ship? Which profession uses the ship? Who built the ship? What do engineers do? Are there any mistakes made while making it? Is there a difference between the passengers on the Titanic? Why is there the most luxurious room and the regular room? What does 1st class passenger mean? Was the class difference only here? By brainstorming these questions, they will learn about the types of transportation, the importance of safe travel, what the social class difference is, the diversity and importance of occupations.

AS A GEOGRAPHER; Kids will explore continents, countries and oceans using the world map. He will learn the ship's route information. From which continent did the ship sail?, Where did it sink?, How did the iceberg that caused it crash form? How did the waters on earth form? Will the waters end one day? What is the difference between oceans and seas?... With many questions like this, they will get to know the world better...

AS A MATHEMATICIAN; Children will solve problems with Titanic using their knowledge of multiplication and division. They will understand that division is sharing and multiplication is grouping. Persons on board, number of rooms, etc. They will set up various problems and go to their solutions. ̈

AS A LITERATURE; Children will travel with a time machine. They will write their own letters as if they were the passengers traveling in the Titanic. They will read their articles describing their observations about their journey, paying attention to emphasis and intonation. In addition, as part of the 'Library Week', they will create our school library with the ship to be designed at the school. They will do a study on the importance of the library.
