WHY IS ART IMPORTANT TO ME?
We say 'Hello!' to art before life, with the 'la' note in our mother's heart sound in the womb… especially if our mother listens to beautiful music with intense 'la' notes during her pregnancy, do not touch our joy... As we begin life with our genes carrying positive or negative behaviors from our ancestors, With the help of art, we can highlight our genes that represent positive behaviors. Freud says; ‘First enjoy the moment!…’ Art; For us, it is the most valuable tool that teaches us to enjoy the moment. When me and my friends form an orchestra, each of us plays a different instrument and feeds our souls and the souls of those who listen to us, on the other hand, we try to be in a team spirit, to work in harmony with each other, to make others happy. We experience the joy of being successful. When we leave the music class and enter our painting workshop, creating works that reflect our inner world on our canvas becomes a therapy for us in our world full of emotional turmoil. Especially, making sculptures of thinkers, artists and writers who left their mark on history together with our classmates not only helps us to get to know those people intimidating, but also helps us discover our talents by experiencing the pleasure of entering different fields of art. For example, listening to the artist's life story while commenting on a painting by Rene teaches us how diligently those who made their mark in history practiced their profession, and how they made their existence accepted with the values they believed in, as well as their love for art. This is only possible with the development of our emotional intelligence. The path of development of our emotional intelligence first passes through art. If you nurture your artistic soul, you can empathize better, be more sensitive to people, be more elegant, more creative and more productive. Instead of being a victim of your egos, you construct what you can do that will benefit humanity. You don't even think about getting bad habits. Knowing the fact that life is built on balances, you succeed in building your life bricks on a solid foundation through art. Art; While improving emotional intelligence, it will also improve mathematical intelligence at the same rate. None of us can deny the success of the dance of mathematical intelligence and emotional intelligence in Leonardo Da Vinci's 'Mona Lisa'. Let's not forget the fact that the way da Vinci achieved his architectural achievements was through art.
